How the imposter game works
- One person creates a room and shares the code. Everyone joins on their own phone.
- Each player sees the secret word on their screen. One random player sees "You are the imposter" instead.
- Go round the group: everyone gives one short clue about the word.
- Discuss, then everyone votes for who they think the imposter is.
- If the imposter is voted out, the players win. If the imposter survives, or guesses the secret word, the imposter wins.
Tips for players
- Give a clue that proves you know the word without giving it away. "Yellow" for banana is too easy for the imposter.
- Watch for clues that are suspiciously vague, or that copy someone else's.
- Don't vote too fast. Ask the quiet ones to explain their clue.

- Listen to the first few clues before you speak, if you can.
- Pick a clue that fits most things in the same category.
- Act confident. Hesitating is the fastest way to get caught.
- If you work out the word, you can still win by guessing it.
How many players?
You need at least 3 players. It is best with 4 to 10, when there are enough clues to hide behind and enough people to argue.
