How to play Filmle

Filmle is a daily word puzzle for Bollywood fans: guess the 5-letter Hindi film title in six tries. Everyone gets the same film each day, so you can compare scores with friends.

  1. Type any 5-letter word and press Enter.
  2. Tiles turn green if the letter is in the right spot, yellow if it is in the title but in a different spot, and grey if it is not in the title at all.
  3. Use the clues to narrow it down and find the film within six guesses.

Titles are written in English letters with spaces and punctuation removed, so Dil Se.. becomes DILSE. A new film unlocks every day at midnight India time. Want more?
